Also, I went with the Remington for nostalgia reasons as well as the frame is aluminum. The Kahr has dovetailed sights and there are a few aftermarket options. I do not have the option of changing the sights. The RM380 has fixed sights and they are small but usable. I did have the Kahr on my short list but I got a better deal price wise on the Remington. Like me both of these gents tried multiple 380's before deciding on the Kahrs.Ĭhantry makes a good point regarding sights. He carries one and leaves one in his shop or RV. I asked him if he would have bought a second CW380 had he bought one instead of the P380 and he said that he would. One of my friends bought the more expensive Kahr P380 before he bought the CW380 and he says he wished he knew how nice the CW380 shot for him as he would have bought a CW380 rather than the P380 the first time. I do not have a Kahr CW380 but 2 of my friends do and they like them very much.
